Procedural Improvements for the Environment

Procedural improvements have also been made. An “environmental checklist” was created by planning staff to ensure compliance with existing environmental regulations and is available for developers to help them through the development process. Also, the “Environmental Considerations for Development” was written in 2004 by planning staff as a more comprehensive study of environmental regulations and how they apply.
